Capabilities
Kiwi Giyim is a trusted Turkish knitwear manufacturer based in Gaziantep. As a flat-knit specialist, we produce the full range — from fine-gauge summer knits to heavy-gauge winter sweaters — on Shima Seiki and Stoll machines in our Gaziantep facility. For high-volume orders or specialty gauges beyond our in-house range, we extend capacity through a trusted network of regional sub-contractors we’ve worked with for years.
Why Choose a Turkish Knitwear Manufacturer
Turkey has become the preferred sourcing destination for international fashion brands seeking an alternative to Asian production. A Turkish knitwear manufacturer offers three structural advantages:
- Proximity to Europe and the UK — 3 to 5 day sea freight to Hamburg, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, or Barcelona. No 4-week Asian transit or volatile container costs.
- EU-aligned compliance culture — Turkish factories follow EU labor, environmental, and product safety standards by default. Customs Union access simplifies documentation for EU clients.
- Established knitwear supply chain — Gaziantep alone produces a significant share of Europe’s mid-market knitwear. Yarn, trims, packaging, and logistics partners are all within a 50-kilometer radius.
For growing brands that want quality, speed, and direct factory relationships without committing to 5,000-unit Asian MOQs, a Turkish knitwear manufacturer like Kiwi Giyim fills the gap — and Gaziantep’s centuries-old textile heritage makes us uniquely equipped for it.

How We Compare — and Why Geography Matters
Two tables: the first shows how Turkish sourcing compares to Asian on the criteria that matter for growing brands. The second shows shipping times from Turkey to your target market.
Table A — Business Criteria (Asia vs Turkey)
Table B — Shipping to Your Market
Air freight: any destination 3–5 days (premium cost). Turkic routes leverage BTK (Baku–Tbilisi–Kars) railway opened 2017 and Caspian ferry network.
🤝 Turkic Markets Advantage
For Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan markets, Turkey offers more than logistics: shared cultural textile preferences, common language between technicians and sales teams, and established trade frameworks under the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). No middlemen needed for translation or cultural mediation.

A Note on Capacity Scaling
Not every garment fits on every machine. When a specific gauge, stitch, or volume exceeds our in-house capacity, we route production to one of our long-standing regional partners in the Gaziantep area. These are facilities we personally audit — we don’t send your order somewhere we haven’t vetted. This lets us take orders larger than our base 100K/month without compromising quality.
