On trade terms, most Turkish-origin knitwear enters the UK at 0% duty under the UK–Turkey Free Trade Agreement — but that is conditional. The garment has to meet the agreement's rules of origin and travel with a valid EUR.1 certificate or origin declaration. We handle the origin paperwork, and we'd always tell you to confirm the duty treatment for your exact tariff code with your customs broker before you place a bulk order. It is a genuine advantage, but it is not unconditional.
Lead time helps the calendar too: roughly 10–14 days ocean transit from Mersin into Felixstowe, far shorter than the lane from the Far East.
