OEM roll-neck and mock-neck jumpers for UK brands — extra-fine merino, lambswool, cashmere blends, flat-knit and WHOLEGARMENT seamless. The collar done right, from the construction spec to the finished handle.
The roll-neck is a wardrobe staple that lives and dies by the collar. Too short and it won't fold properly; too stiff and it won't sit; too scratchy and it comes straight back as a return. We produce roll-neck and mock-neck jumpers with collar proportions spec'd correctly from the tech-pack stage — the fold-height, the rib tension, the seam or seam-free construction — so the finished jumper wears the way your customer expects. Made in Turkey, shipped to the UK, supported with proper origin paperwork.
Full roll-neck (fold-over, 10–15cm), polo-neck (structured longer fold), mock-neck (standing, 5–8cm). All in rib — 1×1, 2×2, 3×3 depending on the collar handle and structure required.
Integral seamless collar with no neck seam — the cleanest construction for a fine-gauge roll-neck. Available at 12gg and 14gg in merino and cashmere blends.
Extra-fine merino, lambswool, cashmere-merino blend, cashmere-modal, and cotton for lighter-weight roll-necks. We'll recommend the fibre based on gauge and your retail price-point.
7gg for a structured mid-weight, 10–12gg for fine-knit layering, 14gg for ultra-fine. Plain, rib body or textured-body roll-necks all available.
The most common quality complaint on roll-neck jumpers is the neck seam — a bulk point where the collar meets the body, especially noticeable in fine-gauge pieces. WHOLEGARMENT knitting eliminates this: the collar and body are knitted as one continuous piece on a Shima Seiki machine, with no seam, no linking join, no weak point. The collar folds or stands cleanly under natural tension, with no bulk at the neck.
For UK brands selling into the premium and luxury end of the market, a WHOLEGARMENT roll-neck in extra-fine merino or a cashmere blend is one of the strongest value propositions in an autumn/winter range — customers can feel the difference in the hand, and it brings return rates down.
We won't pretend to undercut China on a per-unit price — for plain basics, a Far East factory will usually be cheaper. What Turkey offers a UK buyer is a different equation: tariff treatment, proximity and quality control.
Under the UK–Turkey Free Trade Agreement, most knitwear can enter the UK at 0% duty — but this is conditional, not a blanket exemption. The goods must satisfy the agreement's rules of origin and travel with valid preferential origin proof, typically an EUR.1 movement certificate or an invoice origin declaration. We provide that paperwork; you should confirm the duty position for your exact product with your own customs broker before you cost a programme on it. On lead time, a container routed to Felixstowe runs roughly 10–14 days from despatch — far shorter than the Far East, which makes mid-season repeats realistic rather than theoretical.
On compliance, we produce to UK REACH chemical expectations and support the supply-chain transparency a buyer needs under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 — our in-house flat-knit production in Gaziantep keeps the chain short and visible. (GPSR is an EU regulation and doesn't apply to Great Britain–only sales, so it isn't part of a UK compliance pack.) These jumpers are Made in Turkey — not Made in the UK — and we're straightforward about that.
