OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) means you own the design and we manufacture it exactly to your specification. You send the tech pack; we source the yarn, knit, finish, label and ship it as your product. We make your collection — never our own brand against you, and never with hidden subcontracting. Pure OEM, founder-direct.

For brands with a point of view, OEM gives the most control: your construction, your yarn, your fit, your label, your intellectual property. Here's exactly how it works with us, end to end.

Built for Tanzanian Brands

01

Honest on Duty — No China Tariff Edge

There is no Türkiye–Tanzania free-trade agreement, so finished knitwear enters at the EAC common external tariff (25% on most apparel). China has no FTA either, so we carry no customs advantage over Chinese goods — we compete on quality, not duty. Confirm the specific HS-61 line with TRA at import.

02

TBS-Ready Labelling & Conformity

Country-of-origin labelling, fibre content and care labelling prepared for Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) conformity and TRA customs clearance — applied in-house so your goods clear cleanly.

03

China+1 Quality Alternative

A genuine China+1 partner: in-house Shima Seiki WHOLEGARMENT, founder-direct contact and enforceable NDAs — clean single-site Gaziantep sourcing, with English the working language end to end.

04

Planned Shipping to Dar es Salaam

Sea freight from Mersin to Dar es Salaam in ~20–28 days (typically transshipping via a hub port). A longer route we offset with planning and lead-time reliability — FOB or DDP, priced in USD with LC terms available.

The OEM Process, Step by Step

1

Brief & tech pack review

Within 48 hours we confirm feasibility, flag anything missing, suggest yarn options and give indicative pricing.

2

Yarn sourcing & quote

We source the right fibre and count from certified suppliers and return an itemised quote on your chosen Incoterm (FOB or DDP).

3

First sample

Your design knitted for the first time — typically in 10–14 days — to confirm look, construction, gauge and stitch.

4

Fit & refinement

We iterate to your fit and measurement comments over a round or two — see the sampling process.

5

Pre-production approval

A sample in the actual bulk yarn, with final labels and trims — the reference you sign off before production.

6

Bulk production & QC

Production in 45–60 days with in-line quality control, plus a TOP sample checked against your approved PP.

7

Final QC, labelling & export

Final inspection, your labels and packaging applied, and worldwide export from Gaziantep.

Why Our OEM Is Different

01

Truly Pure OEM

We make your designs, never our own brand against you — and never with hidden subcontracting.

02

In-House, Not Brokered

Flat-knit happens on our own machines; the extended range is a transparent partner network, labelled as such.

03

Founder-Direct

You talk to the founder on the floor — faster answers, honest pricing, no agency markup.

04

Built for Smaller Brands

A 250 MOQ and real sampling support — OEM that fits emerging and mid-sized labels, not just volume buyers.

Who We Make For

OEM knitwear for private-label brands, DTC labels, boutiques, and luxury and sustainable collections — anywhere a brand wants its own designs, made well, under its own name.

OEM Knitwear FAQ

Do you make your own designs, or only mine?

We are a pure OEM manufacturer — we produce your designs to your tech pack, under your own label. We make your collection, not our own brand against you.

What is your minimum order quantity?

250 pieces per colour/size — low enough for emerging and mid-sized brands to launch without dead stock, and far below the 500–1,000 typical of Chinese factories.

How long does OEM production take?

First samples are typically ready in 10–14 days; bulk production runs 45–60 days after pre-production sample approval.

Do you sign NDAs to protect my designs?

Yes — we sign enforceable NDAs. Your designs and intellectual property remain yours.

Can you provide compliance documentation?

Yes — supplier yarn certificates (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS) and REACH / CPSIA / GPSR documentation, with third-party testing arranged where a market requires it.

What if I don't have a complete tech pack?

Send what you have — a sketch, a reference garment or a brief — and we'll tell you what's missing and help fill the gaps before sampling.
