Private-label jumper dresses and knitted dresses manufactured in Turkey — rib knit, midi-maxi, cardigan-dresses and WHOLEGARMENT seamless styles, knitted in-house on Stoll and Shima Seiki machines from a 250-piece MOQ. Duty-free to the UK with valid FTA origin proof.
A jumper dress is the hardest-working piece in a knitwear range — one garment, a full outfit, a higher ticket than a jumper. And it is genuinely a knitting problem, not a sewing problem: shaping, gauge and drape decide whether a dress hangs beautifully or bags at the hip. We knit dresses to shape on our own Stoll CMS and Shima Seiki machines in Gaziantep — including WHOLEGARMENT dresses with no side seams at all — for UK brands and boutiques that want an exclusive dress programme, not a stock catalogue everyone else can buy.
For UK buyers there's a structural edge too: with a valid EUR.1 origin certificate, knitted dresses from Turkey enter the UK at 0% under the UK–Türkiye FTA — while the same dress from the Far East pays the UK Global Tariff (commonly around 12%) and spends three times as long at sea. The full import picture is in our guide to importing knitwear from Turkey.
Dresses are knitted to shape — waist decreases, skirt flare and hem structure programmed into the machine, not cut from panels. Fully fashioned construction keeps the silhouette through wear and washing.
250 pieces per colour, per size — a dress programme sized for UK independents and contemporary brands, not department-store minimums.
Shima Seiki WHOLEGARMENT dresses knit in one continuous piece — no side seams, uninterrupted drape. A construction most dress suppliers simply don't have on the floor.
0% UK duty with valid EUR.1 origin proof under the UK–Türkiye FTA, and 10–14 days by sea to Felixstowe. Founder-direct since 2010 — one maker, no trading agent.
The knitted dress programme we run for UK brands, all under your label:
Crew neck, roll neck and mock neck jumper dresses in merino, lambswool, cotton and cashmere-blend — 3gg chunky statement pieces to 12gg fine-gauge layers. The autumn/winter anchor of a UK dress assortment.
Bodycon and column silhouettes in full rib and half rib — the stretch and recovery come from stitch structure, not elastane percentages. Clean lines that photograph well for DTC.
Long-line knitted dresses with programmed skirt shaping — A-line flare, side slits, straight columns. Length is knitted in, so the hem hangs level instead of being cut and re-seamed.
Button-through knitted dresses with knitted button bands attached by linking — the placket stays flat instead of gaping. A styling bridge between our cardigan and dress programmes.
Most knitted dresses are made from panels sewn together, and on a full-length silhouette every seam shows: side seams pull, break the line of the fabric and interrupt drape. A WHOLEGARMENT dress knits as one continuous piece on our Shima Seiki machines — body, sleeves and neckline in a single pass, no side seams anywhere. The result is a dress that falls cleanly through the body and feels different the moment it's picked up. We offer WHOLEGARMENT on 5gg–12gg dresses; it's the construction we'd point a premium UK brand to first.

Two very different businesses answer that search. A stock wholesaler sells ready-made dresses from a catalogue — fast, no minimum design input, but every competitor can buy the same dress. A knitted dress manufacturer — that's us — produces your design exclusively, in your colourways, under your label, from a 250-piece MOQ per colour, per size. Margins are structurally better too: private-label pricing is factory-direct FOB, not a wholesaler's marked-up catalogue price. If your brand is ready to own its product rather than resell someone else's, manufacturing is the honest answer — and we'll tell you plainly if your quantities aren't there yet.

Compliance comes standard: fibre composition and care data to UK textile labelling rules, "Made in Turkey" origin marking, and supplier traceability to support your due diligence. Supplier-sourced OEKO-TEX, GOTS and GRS certified yarns available across the dress range.
No — and the distinction matters. We are a knitted dress manufacturer, not a stock wholesaler: we knit dresses to your design, in your colourways, under your label, from a 250-piece MOQ per colour, per size. If you need off-the-shelf stock this week, a wholesaler is the right call. If you want an exclusive jumper dress your competitors can't buy from the same catalogue, private-label manufacturing is what we do.
250 pieces per colour, per size — each size is its own 250-piece minimum, graded to your UK block. Multi-style dress programmes (a jumper dress plus a rib midi, for example) are welcome — the minimum applies to every colour and size, not per order.
Jumper dresses (crew neck, roll neck, mock neck), rib knit bodycon and column dresses, midi and maxi knitted dresses, cardigan-dresses with knitted button bands, and WHOLEGARMENT seamless dresses knitted in one piece on Shima Seiki machines. Gauges run from 3gg chunky to 14gg fine.
Most knitwear under HS Chapter 61 — knitted dresses included — enters the UK at 0% under the UK–Türkiye FTA, but only with valid rules-of-origin proof (EUR.1 movement certificate or origin declaration). Without it, the UK Global Tariff applies (commonly around 12% on knitwear). We provide the origin documentation; your broker confirms the rate against the commodity code.
First samples ship in 10–14 days (£60–140 per sample style) to your UK office. Bulk production runs 45–60 days from approved pre-production sample, and sea freight from Mersin to Felixstowe is roughly 10–14 days — road is faster if the calendar is tight.
The entire dress knits in one continuous piece on Shima Seiki WHOLEGARMENT machines — no side seams at all. On a dress that matters more than on a jumper: seams interrupt drape, and a full-length silhouette shows it. A seamless knitted dress falls cleanly through the body, and any customer who tries it on feels the difference. We offer it on 5gg–12gg dresses.
