Ireland is an EU member, so Turkish knitwear enters at 0% customs duty under the EU–Turkey Customs Union (in force since 1996), proven by the A.TR movement certificate. Irish VAT still applies on import, as normal.
EU textile fibre-labelling (Reg. 1007/2011, composition in English) and GPSR (Reg. 2023/988). GPSR requires an EU-based Responsible Person on the product — your Irish importer or brand — and we provide the product documentation to support it.
