Uganda is landlocked, so cargo moves through a regional transit port and then overland to Kampala. We ship FOB Mersin to Mombasa (Northern Corridor) or to Dar es Salaam (Central Corridor), where the EAC Single Customs Territory clears goods at the first point of entry, followed by road haulage to Kampala. Plan for roughly 3–4 weeks door-to-door, and budget for inland transport on top of ocean freight. There is no Turkey–Uganda free trade agreement, so the EAC Common External Tariff applies on import.
