A proto sample runs $80–180 including shipping to the US (one colourway, one size). A salesman sample runs $120–250 and turns in 14–21 days from proto sign-off. Additional sizes for a size set are $60–100 each. If a sample has a construction fault that's our fault, we reproduce it at no charge.
Proto (first) sample, fit sample (SMS), pre-production (PP) sample and TOP sample. Two to three rounds to an approved PP sample is typical before bulk is confirmed. A size set confirms your grade holds across the run.

We sample in your specified yarn where it's in stock; if not, we substitute the closest available and note it, then source the exact yarn for bulk. Yarn is the biggest driver of hand-feel and cost, so we get it right before production.
